Baird’s Schoen Transitions to New Role with Baird Capital

CHICAGO, June 2, 2020 – Baird Capital, the direct private investment arm of Baird, recently announced that Katie Schoen, CFA, CAIA, has joined their group as Vice President of Baird Capital. A 12-year Baird veteran, Schoen previously served in the firm’s Wealth Solutions Group, a division of Baird Private Wealth Management (PWM), as Manager of Equity and Fixed Income Research.

In her new role, Schoen will manage Baird Capital’s relationships with current and prospective investors in the United States and abroad, and oversee its communication, sales and marketing activities. Schoen will also be involved in broader strategic and new channel development initiatives.

Schoen currently serves as Board Chair of the CFA Society of Milwaukee and is an advisory board member of Baird’s Women Advisors Advisory Council. She previously held chair roles with Ascend – Baird’s Women’s Associate Resource Group, and Girls on the Run of Southeastern Wisconsin. She is a member of CAIA Chicago, Women in ETFs, and Professional Dimensions.
