Baird Capital Promotes Elliott, Reim at Mid-Year

LONDON/CHICAGO – July 1, 2024 – Today, Baird Capital, the global private equity and venture capital arm of Baird, announced two promotions: Aidan Elliott is now Investment Director and John Reim is Senior Associate.

Aidan is based in London and is a member of the Global Private Equity team. He joined Baird Capital in 2019 and has been involved in the team’s investments in JMAN, Freemarket, Blue Matter, Prescient, Aura and ecube. He has been instrumental in developing the team’s “Office of the CFO” investment thesis, a global cross-platform focus. 

Prior to joining Baird Capital, Aidan spent five years in M&A and private equity, assisting businesses seeking to expand overseas through acquisition as well as advising founders seeking to sell their business. Aidan has a first-class bachelor’s in accounting and finance.

John is a member of the Venture Capital team based out of Chicago. He joined Baird Capital in 2022 and has been involved in the team’s investments in Parallax and Zylo. Before Baird, John was an investment banking senior analyst at Citi in the Mergers & Acquisitions group. He graduated with a B.S. in management from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College with dual concentrations in finance and accounting.

These promotions come on the heels of the news that Louise Kingston has been named Partner on the Global Private Equity team. Louise joined Baird Capital in London as a Director in January 2022.
