Baird Capital Hires New Vice President of Research & Knowledge Management

CHICAGO (11 February 2025) – Today, Baird Capital, the global private equity and venture capital arm of Baird, announced that Pranav Sethuraman has joined Baird’s Chicago office as Vice President – Research & Knowledge Management. In this newly created role, Pranav will focus on developing scalable processes and theses to drive actionable investment opportunities across Baird Capital’s focus areas.  

Pranav came to Baird Capital through Baird’s Leadership Development Program, an in-depth rotational experience for first-year MBA students at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. This 10-week program provides candidates a high level of access within the firm and prepares them for permanent hire at Baird. Pranav spent two years across various business units within the firm including Baird Principal Group, Baird Trust, Baird Global Investment Banking, Baird Fixed Income Capital Markets, and Baird Capital. Prior to coming to Baird, Pranav worked at JLL as a Senior Research Analyst and Research Manager.  

We are so fortunate to add Pranav to the Baird Capital team. I’m especially pleased that he joins us from Baird’s Leadership Development Program with the Kellogg School of Management, which has been a fantastic way to access and develop talent across the firm. Pranav received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also holds an MSc from The London School of Economics, and a BA from George Washington University.
