Daina Spedding, Director

Daina joined Baird Capital in 2024 as a Director in the Global Private Equity team. Based in London, she is responsible for finding and completing new investment opportunities, as well as supporting the boards of investee companies. Prior to joining Baird, Daina spent five years leading growth investments at BGF and 10 years at Blue Coast Capital, a London-based family-backed investment group with PE assets globally.

Originally from Latvia, Daina began her career in a strategy role in a large media group in her home country and later joined PwC’s transaction services team in the U.K., specializing in company valuations and analysis. Daina is CFA qualified and holds a master’s degree in strategic management from EDHEC Business School in France. She is a passionate diversity and inclusion advocate.
